The $35,608 reminder hiding inside your website forms

119 checkouts. 21.25% conversion. Almost no chasing required.

Digital Hospitality in Golf · Edition 6

Today’s Digital Hospitality in Golf thought:

Your website form might be costing you more than you think.

This week, we helped a club replace a traditional “I’m interested” website form with a HubSpot payment link integrated directly into WordPress.

The old process was familiar:

Someone fills out a form.
A staff member gets notified.
The staff member calls them back.
The customer has to answer.
The staff member has to explain the offer, confirm interest, collect payment, and move the person across the finish line.

That may feel like service.

But it was also a big leaking bucket of dollars.

With the new setup, the customer could go from interest to purchase without waiting for a phone call. In less than two days, the payment page had:

119 checkouts

21.25% view-to-checkout rate

Approximately $35,608 in revenue

That is not theoretical “digital transformation” language.

That is 119 people who did not need to be chased.

It is 119 transactions that did not require someone at the club to stop what they were doing, make a call, leave a voicemail, send a follow-up, or hope the customer was still interested later.

Even if each call only takes 5 to 10 minutes, that is roughly 10 to 20 hours of staff time saved in less than two days.

And the bigger point is this:

The club did not create demand out of thin air. The demand was already there.

The old process just made the customer wait.

Every delay between interest and payment gives people time to get distracted, hesitate, forget, or decide they will “come back to it later.”

The easier path captured the revenue while the customer was still ready to say yes.

That is digital hospitality.

Not replacing the human touch.

Protecting it.

Let technology handle the transactions that do not need a phone call, so your team can spend more time on the conversations, relationships, and member experiences that actually do.

Make it easier for the customer.
Make it lighter for the staff.
And you may find a lot of revenue sitting inside the friction.

See you next time,
Hendrix
